[Information] To Our U.S. Customers – Important Information About Tariffs on Orders from Japan

Thank you for shopping with JYW POKECA!

We’ve received a few questions from U.S.-based customers regarding recent changes to U.S. customs and tariff policies. Here's a brief explanation of how your order may be affected.

Orders $800 and Under – No Tariffs (Still OK!)

Almost all of our products, including Pokémon cards and accessories, are Made in Japan. This means the De Minimis rule (which allows duty-free import for orders under $800) still applies. If your total order is $800 or less, it should not be charged any U.S. tariffs.

Orders Over $800 – Tariffs May Apply

If your order total exceeds $800, there is a high chance that U.S. tariffs may be applied.

  • FedEx recommends providing your SSN or EIN to avoid delays at customs.
Since we don’t have a special input field for this, please include your number in the Order Notes or in your shipping address when placing your order.

  • Tariff rates in the U.S. may change at any time. Please be sure to check the latest rate before placing your order. As of April 18, 2025, the standard tariff rate is 10%.

  • FedEx may also charge a handling or brokerage fee, usually $10–30 USD.

  • All tariffs and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that we cannot offer refunds for refused or returned orders due to unpaid tariffs.
